First Tech Fund’s Fellowship Program is a year-long fellowship program for low-income students in NYC to help put them on college and career paths by providing them with free technology and creating a community of support. The program runs from September to June, where students participate in weekly virtual workshops and receive digital skills training, personalized mentorship, career exploration and networking opportunities to build social capital.

Students also have the opportunity to meet with industry-specific mentors and attend networking events, professional development workshops, and have access to volunteer opportunities. Students can also receive free laptops and WiFi hotspots. So who can apply? Incoming low-income 10th-, 11th-, and 12th-grade NYC high school students who either need access to a laptop or WiFi. See here for more information.
