The Care Dividend is a solutions-driven convening that makes the economic case for care: affordable childcare, supported caregivers, mental-health readiness, and healthy longevity are not peripheral social issues. They are essential infrastructure for a thriving workforce, healthier families, and a stronger New York.

We will bring together approximately 75 health practitioners, providers, nonprofit leaders, caregivers, health-focused creators, funders, employers, and policymakers for an evening of practical models, data, and human connection.

Presented by Epicenter-NYC and URL Media, the convening will extend beyond the room through trusted, community-rooted storytelling and multilingual distribution.

Why now

Caregivers hold together households, workplaces, and communities—often without the systems, information, or support they need. At the same time, New York is advancing new childcare investments while communities confront mental-health crises, workforce shortages, an aging population, and uneven access to reliable health information.

The Care Dividend asks a clear question: What becomes possible when care is treated as an economic investment rather than a private burden?
