The group show of 27 Queens artists opens this Saturday, Dec. 10, at A.R.T. (Art Retail Therapy) store on 84-26 37th Ave. in Jackson Heights and runs through Jan. 28. The show is curated by JHAT (Jackson Heights Art Talks) in partnership with local art store and community art space, A.R.T. The Dec. 10 opening starts at 7:30 p.m. with a performance by John Bjerklie, a.k.a. “BigHat,” who will, according to the press release, “square off with visitors to paint each other’s portraits in a mock studio installation constructed of easels, pallets, and drop cloths.”
