Make Music New York

Make Music New York is a unique festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City. All of the performances take place annually on June 21, the first day of summer and longest day of the year. What sets Make Music New York apart from other festivals is that it’s open to anyone who wants to participate. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, sidewalks, parks and plazas to share their music with friends, neighbors and strangers in more than 1,000 concerts. 

Epicenter-NYC and Friends of Diversity Plaza will present Make Music New York — now in its 17th year — in Jackson Heights at 73-19 37th Rd. on June 21 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Join us!
