Vick is currently working on “The Americans,” a series influenced by photographers Robert Frank and Gordon Parks. Vick’s photography experience began in 1978. His early series of work, “Pictures from Utica,” “View Through My Window” and “The Empires Waste,” represented his visual experiences while living in Utica, NY.

He left Utica in 1994 to photograph New York City and its immediate surroundings. “The River Edge,” his first New York exhibition of photographs, was taken from the perspective or vantage point of rivers’ borders and boundaries.
